Controlling Devices from the Control Panel
Modifying a Control Panel

In Chromeleon, you can modify any Control Panel by adding or removing controls (i.e., buttons, sliders, color boxes, plots etc.) and linking them to display a property status or execute a certain command or string of commands.

To modify a Control Panel

  1. Open the Control Panel you intend to modify (see How to …: Controlling Devices from the Control Panel  Opening a Control Panel).

  2. On the File menu, select Save as and save the panel under a different name.

  3. On the Edit or context menu, click Layout Mode. Control Panels can only be edited in the Layout Mode.

To add a new Control

The quick info box provides a brief description of the control to which you are currently pointing.

  2. Click a control. The selected control appends to the pointer.

  3. Click in the panel where you want to position the new control.

To remove  a Control
